Dr. Berthold Sternberg was a scientist who lived in France during World War II. He is famous for being the creator of the Infinity Formula.
History[]
Berthold Sternberg was a scientist who somehow stumbled upon Shaka Kharn's Elixir of Life. Developed his own perfected version, Sternberg created the Infinity Formula, which could greatly slow a person's aging. When Nick Fury & Dum Dum Dugan were injured in France during WWII, they was given the serum. While Dugan's larger dosage made the effects permanent for him, Fury only got the regular injection, meaning the effects would expire for the sergeant after roughly a year. Sternberg then went on to blackmail Fury into paying him large amounts of money for continuing doses of the serum. Sternberg was shot by Hydra agents, who wished to obtain the serum for their leaders.
