Cell (Earth-1227)

Cell is the creation of Dr. Gero.

History

Cell was created by Dr. Gero, via cell recombination using the genetics of the greatest fighters that Gero's remote tracking device could find on Earth. The result was a "perfect warrior", possessing numerous favorable genetic traits and special abilities from Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza and King Cold.

Gero did not actually live enough to finish his creation personally and so had a supercomputer finish the job. Unfortunately Android 17 and 18 destroyed the computer causing Cell to be awakened less powerful than intended.

As a result, Cell decided to absorb 17 and 18 to complete himself. However Trunks destroyed both androids, forcing Cell to take his machine to Earth-1032.
