Ilsa Haupstein is a long time member of the Nazi Party, Schutzstaffel, and eventually HYDRA under the tutelage of Red Skull, who taught her about the occult and the Ogdrud Jahad, and they soon became lovers. She turned into one of the Third Reich's greatest assassins after undergoing a biochemical procedure, Madame Hydra. When the Red Skull seemingly died in 1945, Ilsa and Iron Cross went to hiding for the next 70 decades, her augmentations allowing her to live on with her youthful appearance, seeking a way to locate Colonel Schmidt and bringing him back from the Tesseract in order to continue with their original plans.


Early Life

Ilsa Haupstein was born in June 17th, 1919, on the countryside east of Berlin Germany. She was the youngest child out of four for a bureaucrat father and a housewife mother and was treated well by her family. Ilsa also exceeded in school because of her gymnastic abilities, which her teacher described as 'fantastical'.

This led her parents to sent her to a gymnastic program in Berlin to study in Germany's top coaches, which she already succeeded at the age of thirteen. However, she suffered a lesion in 1933 in a complicated track which ended her short-lived career. Three weeks later, it was discovered the act was performed by an envious fellow gymnast, and one week later, she was found dead at her home.
