Parademons are not born, they are made. A genetically engineered parasite-assassin solely devoted to the whims of its maker. These creatures have no names, just a binary existence defined by whether they complete the task given to them, or whether they fail. 
Parademons are a sapient race of genetically modified beings reminiscent of numerous different races which are under the servitude of Darkseid and his heralds. Steppenwolf was the first to use them on Earth during the First Invasion of Earth, and later by Loki against the Avengers.

Parademons were created by Darkseid through the process of deconstructing and re-purposing genetic material from living and deceased enemies during his conquest of other worlds. Afterwards, they were trained, enhanced and processed to serve the will of Darkseid on Apokolips.
For hundreds of years they were commanded in the field by Darkseid's nephew, Steppenwolf, during the conquest of new worlds and realms.
